"Develop student-centered activities that foster community and a sense of belonging among all CALS graduate and undergraduate students. • Create a First-Year, annual CALS Field Day event, • Create weekly CALS Chemistry study group with hired chemistry tutors. • Create workshops and community events with Student Success Advisors. • Host support and networking opportunities for graduate students and postdocs • Create opportunities to address needs of non-dominant, historically underrepresented, and excluded students including BIPOC and First Generation with campus-based affinity centers, Encourage departments to establish peer mentoring programs for undergraduate and graduate students."
